A little care, after the final pour.
Each brewing object has its own materials and moving parts. Begin with the instructions supplied with your particular model.
After brewing.
Remove used leaves and rinse the components as directed. Clean the vessel after use and allow the pieces to dry before storing.
Glass and changing temperatures.
Avoid sudden temperature changes unless the supplied instructions explicitly permit them. Do not assume a glass vessel is suitable for direct heat, a microwave or a dishwasher.
Wood and decorative details.
Follow the model’s guidance for handles, lids and decorative finishes. Avoid prolonged soaking of wood parts unless the manufacturer instructs otherwise.
Filters and moving parts.
Clean infusers and filters after use. Reassemble parts according to the supplied instructions, without forcing a mechanism.
Electric equipment.
Follow the appliance’s cleaning and electrical instructions. Do not immerse electrical components in water unless the manufacturer specifically permits it.
